Amy serves as the 1st grade teacher and coach.
Holy Cross is an inner city school with an 85-90% Hispanic population and a 95-97% free and reduced lunch rate. The school is served by12 professional, certified teachers whose experience ranges from 21 years to 1 year. Holy Cross is staffed by a flexible, dedicated, Christ-like, hard working and innovative staff with a zeal and enthusiasm for teaching.
Holy Cross serves, in large, a poor population, many of whom are immigrants from Mexico. The Mission is to provide a faith based education that is rooted in the Gospel and the Catholic teachings to all students. In 2010 St. Stephen’s Academy and Holy Cross merged and the consolidated school also serves Asian and Sudanese immigrant children.
