Personal Story
Born in the greater Chicagoland area, I moved to Norcross, Georgia at the age of six – just in time for the Atlanta Braves unprecedented run of fourteen division titles. Though the southern accent never stuck with me, I like to think the hospitality did.
I returned to the Midwest for my formative undergraduate years at the University of Notre Dame. I studied finance in the Mendoza College of Business to prepare me for a career in corporate financial management. Outside of class, I became very involved in my residence hall community, Morrissey Manor.
After graduating from Notre Dame, I chose a different path and volunteered at the Farm of the Child children’s home in rural Honduras for twenty-seven months that concluded in December 2010. In my first year, I worked with some of the home’s most difficult and at-risk adolescent boys and in my second year, I served as sub-director and volunteer coordinator.
One of the volunteers with whom I lived in community at the Farm of the Child had been an LV and introduced me to the Lasallian mission and charism. Upon returning to the States, I graciously accepted the opportunity to continue living an integrated life of faith, service, and community and I joined the LV family in February 2011.

Areas of Responsibility
The Program Coordinator has the primary responsibility of supporting the Lasallian Volunteers, Site and Community Directors and managing the programmatic needs of the Lasallian Volunteers program. The Coordinator manages and implements all AmeriCorps requirements and is a liaison to CVN/AEAP. The position necessitates collaboration with contacts at all sites and communities as well as CVN/AEAP. The Program Coordinator also manages and facilitates relationships with Alums and the mentoring program.
