In 2012, LVs ran the Williams Route 66 Marathon and Half Marathon in Tulsa, OK, on Sunday November 18. They raised just over $66,000. Thank you for your support!
We run so that our students and clients can run—and play, learn, and grow to become great people. Their education is not just the biggest reason we serve, it’s the biggest reason we care! Your support ensures Lasallian Volunteers will continue to be placed in areas of high need across the country. We appreciate your support to help us change the world – one mile, one student, and one client at a time.

LV Races History
Monster Dash, October 29, 2012 | Half Marathon in Minneapolis
In 2007, a few volunteers got together with an idea to run a race and use it as a way to share about their experiences as volunteers and hopefully fundraise for the Lasallian Volunteers. This simple idea turned into 18 LVs and friends running the 2007 Chicago Marathon and raising over $28,000.
Since 2007, the Lasallian Volunteers have organized and carried out fundraisers around a specific road race each year to help the fundraising efforts of the program. Over the past four years, we ran in Chicago, Philadelphia, Rhode Island and Memphis raising over $200,000 for the Lasallian Volunteers. The races provide the volunteers a place to share their story with friends and family inviting them to participate in the Lasallian Volunteers movement.
