Orientation is the kickstart to a Lasallian Volunteer’s service year, and it ensures a smooth transition for our young men and women.

On July 21, 49 volunteers will travel to Lewis University outside Chicago to begin this intense 10-day program. When Orientation is complete, a Lasallian Volunteer’s journey begins — a full year of community life with Brothers and fellow volunteers, bringing service to the poor through the gospel. At Orientation, Lasallian Volunteers will:

  • Gain training and tools for use in their service
  • Delve deeper into the Lasallian charism
  • Build community with fellow LVs and staff

REASONS TO SAY yes!

watch-race-video For most of our volunteers this will be their first experience living in an intentional religious community. Their time as a Lasallian Volunteer  includes education to expand their understanding of the Catholic faith and spiritual formation to strengthen their relationship with God.
