For more than 30 years, Lasallian Volunteers has played a significant role in the Lasallian mission by serving young people in the spirit of faith, service and community. The program will come to a close at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 service year. Brother Visitors Donald Johanson, Michael Fehrenbach and Robert Schaefer announced the decision in a letter to key groups following a period of conversations, study and deliberation. A follow-up letter further outlined considerations for closing the program. Plans are being made to recognize and celebrate the impact of Lasallian Volunteers. An invitation to get involved will be shared in the next few weeks.
