To date, some 750 volunteers have answered the call to serve throughout the United States and beyond. Besides the service these young men and women have offered to the poor and those on the margins is the growth they have experienced by doing so. The LV program helps its volunteers develop their faith while living in intentional community with Brothers, fellow volunteers and Lasallian Partners.

Following in the footsteps of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, Lasallian Volunteers and alumni have embarked on a spiritual journey, through educational ministry and supportive companionship. For many, this has been a transformative experience. The intersection of faith, service and community can be a life-changing encounter. As such, we are committed to accompanying young adults in the discernment of their purpose and call.

Faith, service and community are values that a Lasallian Volunteer embraces, not just for a year or two, but for a lifetime! We thank you for your support of this program, and we look forward to extending the faith-based volunteer experience to many more women and men who answer the call in the next 30 years and beyond!
